So I have been a pretty big fan of Groupon for a while now, and although I don't usually buy things from them I always find time to look around and see what they have to offer. Recently I decided to look through the "Goods" section, when I realized that they often have very, very, very strange items. So, below are the 10 weirdest things I have found, part one.
Hey guys, I've been away from the blog life for a while but it was for a good reason. I am working on a fictional novel called "Visitors" (tentatively) and I have a kind of cool idea that you guys might enjoy participating in.
Normally, I would stick to posting positive and inspiring links for the Link Of The Day, however this is one that I feel needs more attention than it is currently getting. A few days ago, Farzana Parveen, only 25 years old, was stoned to death in Pakistan because she wanted to marry some one that her family did not approve of.
I know, I missed two days (to anyone that actually cares). But I've been busy to be honest...work and a huge literary project I'm working on, but more on that later. Hopefully within the next week or so I can work on some more serious writing. For today's link of the day I give you you MyScienceAcadamy.Org's article about incredible breakthroughs that will blow your mind. Yes, it is two years old but still, it is kind of cool. So yeah pretty much this is a cop out for me..
Absolutely perfect. If you are roughly 18-22 years old this video is the perfect depiction of what went on at an 8th grade sleepover. I remember talking to my friends about a girl getting her braces off like it was the greatest thing to ever happen. In all reality that probably was the greatest thing to happen to a girl in 8th grade, aside from maybe getting a new American Eagle shirt.
Maya Angelou died today, at the age of 86 in her home in Salem-WInston. I was devastated to hear the news, as Ms. Angelou was not only one of my favorite writers, but also one of the most inspirational Humans to ever live on this planet. In middle school we read "I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings" and since that day the story has been forever imprinted in my head and heart.
For the very first ever "Random Link of the Day" I bring to you the YouTube account "Reactions" which is super cool. If you like science, or if you just like knowing how everyday things work in under 3 minutes, this YouTube account will keep you entertained for hours.
