Talking to Ryan Medeiros isn't always a normal conversation. Not only is he one of the most hilarious people I've ever met, but he is also incredibly down to earth and realistic. A few years back we were driving home from summer league basketball when he told me to but an instrumental on. Skeptical at first, I scoured YouTube for a decent beat and let him do his thing. Four minutes later, jaw to the floor of my car and a look of awe on my face, I threw on another beat and made him freestyle again.
I was really excited to do this interview, and I'm even more excited to finally share it. Brad is a real cool guy, completely down to Earth. He went to high school near me and I always kind of knew him, but it wasn't until college that we really started digging each others writing. When he's not studying at Bryant University he's writing dope music or creative poems. Check out his newest project Last Summer , and take a look at the interview i did with him below, and follow him on Twitter here, SoundCloud here, an WordPress here.
For the first "Artist Spotlight" segment I'd like to present James Carpenter, an extremely talented photographer from Southcoast Mass. I've known James for a while, in fact I used to work with him at a supermarket back in the day. A year after knowing him I noticed that he was really into photography, and his shots were not only extremely creative, but amazingly unique. Check out the interview below along with some of his best shots at the bottom, and be sure to follow him on instagram to see more of his work.
