Insecurity in her eyes bleeds through,
Like a dye of a different hue.
What do I do to get his attention, stay true?
True?
True is something I never knew.
Something acted out only by very few
Like a dye of a different hue.
What do I do to get his attention, stay true?
True?
True is something I never knew.
Something acted out only by very few
True doesn’t work,
It never does.
Realness is a risk I wouldn’t dare to discuss
What is wrong with who I am?
Is it my weight?
Is it my face?
What is my fate?
To change my appearance for mere adherence to a system of which I don’t relate?
Or stay real.
Throw out my insecurities?
Or keep them, they fit me perfectly
I am who I am.
I may be a victim of this twisted system but I refuse to be a casualty.
Need to step back into to reality, my flaws are not a malady.
Appearance may assert you
But originality is a virtue.
It never does.
